What people are saying:
— asty BBQ fare off the ever so popular Wash Ave strip. Stop in for that small bar in the big city feel.
— There’s fairly traditional BBQ fare (pulled pork, burnt ends, chicken) with great bar food (many kinds of nachos, tacos). Great sides, and a curated beer selection. The late night menu is smaller, but it’s a great value, especially at 12am. Super relaxed and low-key.
— Yes, I can tell you what I (and my in-laws, husband, And kids) did not like. The coleslaw was some of the worst coleslaw I have ever had i cannot even describe it. My father-in-laws baked beans look like they had sat out for days they were dry and just awful. My daughter’s green beans just had a horrible taste, again cannot describe the taste just horrible. Your only BBQ sauce was gross and the lack of variety didn’t help. The girl we ordered with just talked to some guys the whole time and when I asked to exchange my coleslaw she had an attitude. Really, the food overall is just terrible tasting. Even my pulled pork was burnt some and couldn’t even be chewed.
— Great food! Authentic KC BBQ and great beer on Tap!
— Extremely polite service. The burnt ends were incredible and the cheesy potatos and green beans with bacon were dynamite. 5 stars all around! Will he back for sure.
