What people are saying:
— here are always several customers here every time I visit. There’s a variety of starters that all sound good. I had the cream cheese poppers (they also offer cheddar cheese poppers), and these were very good. You get 6 good sized poppers.I had the tortellini, which was so very creamy and full of flavor. I would definitely order this again! My friend had the steak sandwich on garlic cheese bread. This is a large sandwich that seems to be a favorite here. We also had the side salad with a unique White French dressing and would definitely recommend this as well.
— This place is a little bit of St. Louis awesome. The bar is up front, but if you go further inside you’ll find two dining areas that feel like you just got invited into an exclusive club – photos of Cardinals baseball and other St. Louis stuff lines the wall. The service is great – exactly what you would expect – hospitable but they’re not going to take any guff from you either. I had the steak sandwich and the waffle fries. My partner had the special of the day which was fried chicken and looked amazing. Both were probably more food that what we *really* needed, but, hey, who’s counting calories here? My dad tells me that the name of the place used to be Stan & Biggies – as in Stan Musial, the Cardinals legend. I can’t exactly confirm that, but I can see Stan the Man hanging out in this place. You should see yourself hanging out here too.
— Old people seen to flock to this place. The old people I know love it. I think the food is boring.
