What people are saying:
— emory i would never forget. Even if i went blind. Everyone should experience sunday brunch. For best experience request the chefs table.
— We recently had our wedding reception here and were beyond impressed. The catering manager, Erica Stone, went above and beyond to make sure that every detail of our special day went flawlessly. The food served at the reception was hot and plated on time- we got rave reviews on it from all of our guests. They even accomodated my (the bride) need for a vegetarian, gluten-free entree. All of the servers were very ingratiating and professional. At the end of the evening, we left with an already prepared take-home bag full of two portions of everything served during the evening, which was fabulous, since we were on our feet entertaining guests. Fabulous experience. Thank you, Bevo Mill for making our wedding day so special!
— Purchased a groupon on a Saturday to experience their brunch. I called at 8am to make reservations for 1030 (as instructed in the groupon). The owner answered the phone and I was immediately treated with disrespect when I mentioned the groupon. Was told by the owner that we needed to make reservations Monday-Friday and that was in the fine print (it was not and he later admitted he lied about that and it is a policy they made up after the fact). Was told we needed to print the groupon then. We couldn’t as we don’t have a printer (and a mobile coupon is part of the point of groupon). He told us we then couldn’t use it. Also went on to say reservations need to be made in advance and was told very arrogantly that 2.5 hours in advance is not advance. I was in awe of the bait and switch and explained you can’t change the policy after the fact (which is probably illegal but was told it’s my policy and I am not going to change). The owner then hung up on me without notice. When I called back he would not relent and bordered at yelling at me the entire conversation. I have never been treated with such disrespect by a restaurant owner. I refused to go because of the horrible interaction with this arrogant man. Absolutely horrible experience. Not only will I never go there but I will also speak very poorly of this place and my experience to my colleagues.Nicholas Hartog, MD
— Went for brunch today and I was not overly impressed. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. I used a daily deal coupon so one of us ate for free, which is a good thing because it would not have been worth $60 for two people by a long shot. I have been to various country clubs/resorts for Sun brunch and this one does not make the list for the best I’ve had. The best thing I can say was our service was good, and the atmosphere is nice. I probably won’t go back for brunch, if I am going to spend that much money I’d rather do brunch at the Ritz. I hate to say it but I probably wouldnt recommend it to a friend.
— Looked at web site and thought the Mother’s Day buffet was 24.99. Got the bill and it was double, 39.95 per person! Same menu as weekend buffet. Thought very deceptive advertising! Had to click on hyper link to find out real price which they know most people will not. Won’t be back!
